My favorite movie was the fourth one. In this video, students are in a classroom and they show their toughts on a piece of paper. With the music and everything, it was a good video !
I love university. I like to learn new stuff everyday and meet people who are just like me. However, to me, there is one problem. Teachers throw stuff at us from a powerpoint and through a microphone. And we, students, are supposed to go on the net and do whateverby ourselves (which is fine...). One particular student in the video wrote down: ''18% of all my teachers know my name''. I agree with that; technologies clearly brings a lack of ''human contact''.
I am myself a user of all those technologies. But these videos kind of... scare me. (please don't get upset Mark! Hahah!) Some people may say that technologies = evolution. To me, numbers such as ''3 hours online everyday'' = problems (such as obesity). Don't you think that there is nothing that can replace the smell of an old book?? I know that it may sound quite ''vieux-jeu''. But I know also that my last cellphone bill could have paid an entire year of university to a student in Nicaragua....................
